Prayer for the Conversion of Sinners

Jesus described His mission in simple words: "The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). His parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son show the joy in heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15). This prayer asks Christ to look with mercy on sinners and to bring them back with humble and contrite hearts, through the intercession of Mary, Refuge of Sinners.
Pray it for family members or friends who have drifted from the faith, for those living in serious sin, for your own ongoing conversion, and for the whole world. St. Monica prayed for years for her son Augustine, who became one of the Church's greatest saints. Never stop praying; conversion is God's work, and He is patient.
The Prayer
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who camest to seek and to save that which was lost, look with mercy upon poor sinners. Convert them by Thy grace, that they may return to Thee with humble and contrite hearts. Through the intercession of Mary, Refuge of sinners, hear us. Amen.
