Visit to the Blessed Sacrament Prayer

A "visit" to the Blessed Sacrament is simply stopping into a church or chapel, outside of Mass, to spend a few minutes with Jesus present in the tabernacle. St. Alphonsus Liguori wrote a whole book of such visits, and generations of Catholics have made the practice part of their day on the way to work, school, or home.
This short prayer thanks Our Lord for His presence and asks never to be separated from Him. Pray it when you kneel before the tabernacle, look for the sanctuary lamp that shows He is present, and then stay a while in silence or add a Spiritual Communion. Even five minutes is enough, and the habit can change a whole week.
The Prayer
My Lord and my God, I thank Thee for Thy presence in the Blessed Sacrament. Stay with me, and never let me be separated from Thee. Amen.
